The next weeks will be insanely busy for me, for personal reasons that if you know me are already aware of. I won't be posting any large projects until after May 15th.

I've been thinking a lot about Pyrexia lately, it's not abandoned. I've been thinking about Red Wall, but unable to finish illustrating since my own work has abducted most of my studio time. Fear not, I sincerely love creating flash games and look forward to experimenting more with them.

My Legend of Zelda Vaati sculpt is base painted and currently I am doing detailing/shading.

I have a Hetalia USxUK, Death Note, and Raito Yagami mixes on the way. Not sure when I'll be posting those.

I am also more excited for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight action figures than I should be~ XD

I have been watching: Axis Powers Hetalia, Jyu-Oh-Sei, 07 Ghost, Elfen Lied, Princess Resurrection

I have been reading: Drawing Blood By: Poppy Z. Brite, Mindbridge By: Joe Haldeman, Illustrated Man By: Ray Bradbury, Measure for Measure By: Shakespeare

Generators

Inspiration doesn't always come when you feel like writing the most. I'll get in a mood where I feel the need to create something and poetry is singing in my head but I'm unsure where to focus my creative energies. Frustrated, I'll turn to mythology and other nonfiction books in hopes of triggering some kind of scenario in my head but often research like this and attempts to plot something extravagent, ground-breaking, and meaningful kills the buzz. I find randomizers like these very useful when I just need an outlet and want something to write about with a solid beginning middle and end that I don't have to worry about. Just thought I'd share:

Writing Generator Story generators of various plot types. Also allows you randomize characters and other aspects of the plot.

Random Adventure Generator Generates a fantasy scenario. This one's fun.

Story Generator As the title implies, a story generator.

Writing Challenge Very useful, for fanfictions especially.

Setting Creation Generates extensive amount setting information for a fantasy story/roleplay/whatever.

So I'm back from Arizona.

I saw Casa Grande the N. American Ruin,
a giant boar ran in front of us while driving,
and saw parrots screwing.

and no more being clever and rhyming.... I got to romp around in a tshirt and capris and stay in this fancy resort. I also dreamed the next part of The Fae.

It's starting to get real boring for me. Shells of people, not people, fit to a standard and formula of sex that can be applied to anyone. The stereotypes; the self-lubricating anus; the tiny/nonexistant balls; how the whole story leads up to the point they have sex; how they have no qualms of body image; and how sex is a positive force that makes them realize how much they mean to each other. Disgusting and hypocritical.

No wonder they say this generation is doomed. All of us live in a fantasy world.

These stupid fanfiction, webmanga's, doujinshi's, and fanart praising this "art" form. The fangirls squealing over this beloved bishies Kyo-chany and Sasu-muffin. They don't know how to so much carry on a normal conversation without including anime-speak.

(Disclaimer: Of course this is a rather broad statement I'm making, and I by no means am concluding all anime fans are socially illiterate.)

Is it too much to ask for something with heart? With style? With a certain flair of its own that while having explicit scenes is unique and amusing in its own right? (And its amusing NOT because of the sole fact it involves Joe topping Dick?)

I love manga and I love boys, make no mistake. But I can't stand art forms that lack the art.

And yet in the end, I hate it with a bitter passion but can't stop buying it. As an artist I hate it, but as a female I want it.

Currently, Gueve Elliot and myself are working on a pimped version of the Labyrinth. Yes, the Jim Hennson movie. We were inspired after being let down for "Return to the Labyrinth" published by tokyopop, we thought it was going to be illustrated by the mangaka of Alichino. Unfortunately it was some strange hybrid manga in which the creator doesnt know any more about the art of manga then Tom Cruz does.

So, we're doing an NC-17 version in which Sarah (Who recentally had her gender changed by David Bowie) loses to the Goblin King's challenge and is sent back home empty handed. She returns years later to try to get Gerard to change her back to a girl and retrieve her brother. I'm not saying anything else besides this story is on crack.

FRGT10 has pretty much been dropped; I just cant make it work. I think I'll either short story-ify it or completely restart again in the future.
